Your Tajudeen AbdulRaheem Reader

That a great Pan-Africanist passed away early on the morning of African Liberation Day - Monday, 25th May 2009, was quite a coincidence.
I first came across Dr. Tajudeen Abdul-Raheem on Channel 4 News on the eve of the Gleneagles G8 Summit in 2005. He was in his elements and in full stride. I read his columns at Pambazuka News every now and again and you couldn't but be amazed at the fine mind behind those words.
His passing is being moruned all across the continent he called home. May his soul rest in peace.

Here's a brief list of writings by and about him:

1. Writing in African Transitions on Globalisation and Recolonisation

2. Tribute by Okello Oculi in The Ugandan Monitor : Tajudeen was a true son of the continent

3. Speaking truth to power: Gaddafi, Blair, Obasanjo and Museveni

4. Discussing Arab Racism in Africa
